Australia Dental Clontarf know, the Child Dental Benefit Scheme (CDBS) has been created by the Federal Government to provide easier access to dental treatment. The CDBS helps you keep your kids’ teeth in great shape by providing you with up to $1013 over a 2 year calendar period that can be used for a range of dental services.
So, how do you know if your child is eligible?
If your child:
- Qualifies for Medicare
- If you receive either Family Tax Benefit A, Parenting payment or Double Orphan Pension payments for at least part of the year
- They are within the age range of 2-17 for some of the year
They will be deemed eligible for the Child Dental Benefit Scheme!
With the school holidays now underway it is a great time to make an appointment and get the kids teeth checked.
